Cylon Auto-Matrix has a long history of firsts in Building Automation and Energy Management, combining award-winning technology with innovative Smart Building Solutions to meet the needs of today's green-conscious facilities. We continue to meet the challenges facing building owners and operators to reduce energy use while providing comfortable and sustainable environments.
In 1982, we introduced the first facility automation system in the world offering open communications protocol, as well as generation to generation compatibility, direct digital control, distributed intelligence, and object-oriented programming.
We continue to develop new and innovative products, and offer more “open” BTL listed products than any other company in the industry. From the beginning, we have had the vision to allow generation-to-generation compatibility, ensuring ease of transition and future upgrades as new technology arrives.
We continue, whenever possible, to protect your investment with upgrade paths that provide alternatives to replacing control systems in your buildings now and in the future.
In June 2014, Cylon Auto-Matrix was acquired by Cylon Controls, one of the largest independent control manufacturers in Europe, and a leading developer of energy management systems. Cylon is a pioneer and a recognized international leader in the development of smart energy management systems for buildings, and has been for over 25 years. Working through a worldwide network of system integrators, Cylon has thousands of installations in Europe, North America, Asia, India, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to the acquisition, Cylon had partnered with Teletrol, a Philips company, by assuming the management of their system integrator channel and distribution of products delivered through that channel. Today, we offer innovative solutions that provide results in new buildings as well as legacy Teletrol and Cylon Auto-Matrix installations at the lowest possible cost and with minimal interruption to building operation.
In 2009, we introduced Active Energy, a web-based product offering building and equipment performance analytics that provide valuable information to building owners about how their buildings and equipment is using energy, water, and key elements of their operations.
Our passion is to put the needs of our customers first.
Thousands of customers, including hospitals, laboratories, government facilities, airports, college campuses, and retail outlets count on Cylon Auto-Matrix products every day to increase and optimize building performance.
With offices in Pennsylvania and New Hampshire, we continue to design, develop, and support the most flexible family of products in the industry. Our network of over 260 system integrators assures local sales, design, installation and service of our products.
